The primary job tasks for this position will be preventative maintenance and repairs on production equipment and other systems as needed


  • Experience in industrial maintenance (electrical & mechanical) and testing procedures (A/C D/C) preferred.  Experience troubleshooting automated equipment, including sensors, valves, pumps, discrete I/O, PLCs, and VFDs.  Experience troubleshooting and repairing 480v 3phase electrical motors and circuits.
  • Perform planned, routine, or emergency mechanical or electrical repairs on the equipment assigned by management.
  • Maintain the equipment in peak operating condition.
  • Repair and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.

Physical Demands

Exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.


Tools & Equipment Used

  • office equipment such as computer
  • hand tools (e.g., hammer, wrench, screwdriver)
  • power tools (e.g., radial saw, reciprocating saw, drill, etc)
  • vehicles (e.g., forklift, scissor lift)


  • Associate's Degree in technical field or technical school program, with at least 1 year industrial maintenance experience.
  • 5 years factory maintenance experience is required if NO degree; any military electrical training is a plus.
  • Ability to express basic electronic, mechanical and hydraulic principles used in past electrician, maintenance mechanic, and maintenance technician work assignments

  • Ability to express intelligently core principles such as hydraulic dynamics and Ohm's Law
  • Basic MSOffice knowledge and a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) is required; more advanced skills are helpful.
  • Ability to lift and carry products and/or equipment of up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work a standard 8 hour or alternative 12 hour a day set work schedule within a 24x7 operation (weekends, evenings, and holidays)
